Why the 10% for military, first responders and teachers
Dana Kowalczyk served as an HVAC technician in the Air Force before she came home to run our heating and cooling side, and several of our technicians are veterans too. Agnes's softball team is full of kids whose parents are nurses, firefighters and teachers. This discount isn't a marketing gimmick. It's a thank-you to the people who show up for everybody else. Just let us know when you book and show your ID or badge to your technician.
About that free second opinion
This is the one we're proudest of. Every fall we meet homeowners who've been told their furnace has a "cracked heat exchanger" and has to be replaced tonight, or that their water heater "won't make it through the week."
Sometimes that's true. Sometimes it's a $200 part. Dana Kowalczyk started the free second opinion because she was tired of hearing the stories. A licensed technician will come out, inspect the system, and give you a straight answer, in writing. If you really do need a new system, we'll tell you so and give you our price. If you don't, we'll tell you that too.
If your furnace has a genuine safety issue, like carbon monoxide or a gas leak, we'll shut it off and explain why. Safety comes first, every time.
