The small stuff, fixed properly
A toilet that runs all night, a faucet that drips, a disposal that just hums. Small problems, but they waste water and wear on your patience. We fix them for a posted price.

Toilets
Signs you need us: it runs or refills on its own every few minutes; it rocks when you sit on it; there's water around the base; it clogs every week; the handle has to be jiggled; or you hear a hiss long after the flush.
A running toilet can waste a couple hundred gallons a day, and the culprit is usually a worn flapper or fill valve, a quick fix. Water around the base usually means a failed wax ring, and that's worth fixing quickly before it rots the subfloor. If your toilet is more than 25 years old and uses a lot of water per flush, replacing it with a modern low-flow model can pay for itself in a few years.
Most toilet repairs take under an hour. A full replacement usually takes one to two hours.
Faucets
Signs you need us: a steady drip, low flow from one faucet only, a handle that's hard to turn, water pooling at the base, or a sprayer hose that's split under the sink.
Sometimes a drip is a cartridge or a washer, and we'll repair it if the faucet is worth keeping. Older builder-grade faucets often aren't, and replacing them is the better value. You're welcome to buy your own faucet; we'll install it at our posted price and warranty our labor. Or we can bring a quality faucet we stand behind. We'll replace the flexible supply lines either way, because a burst supply line under a sink is one of the most common flood calls we get.
A typical faucet install takes about an hour, a little more if the old one is corroded in place.
Garbage disposals
Signs you need us: it hums but won't spin, it leaks from the bottom, it trips its reset button over and over, it's loud and rattling, or the sink drains slowly after you run it.
A humming disposal is usually jammed. Before you call, try the fix below. If it leaks from the body itself, the unit is done and needs replacing. We install all major brands; a 1/2-horsepower unit handles most households, and we'll suggest a 3/4-horsepower if you cook a lot. If there's no outlet or switch under the sink, we'll tell you up front and quote the electrical work. Most disposal replacements take about an hour.
What you can do right now
Toilet overflowing? Take the lid off the tank and push the flapper down, or turn the small valve on the wall behind the toilet clockwise to stop the water. Supply line leaking under a sink? Close the two little valves under the sink. If they won't turn or they're leaking too, close the main shut-off to the house. Disposal jammed? Switch it off and unplug it, or switch off its breaker. Never reach into the disposal. Use the hex wrench that came with it in the slot on the bottom (or a 1/4-inch Allen key), work it back and forth, then press the red reset button and try again.

Fixture questions
Can you install a toilet, faucet or disposal I already bought?
Yes. We install customer-supplied fixtures at our posted labor price. The manufacturer covers the fixture; we cover our workmanship for a year.
Do you handle more than one fixture on a visit?
Absolutely. Make a list. You pay one $89 service call, and if several jobs are booked together your tech will price them together.
Do you do bathroom remodels?
We do the plumbing for remodels, rough-in and finish, working alongside your contractor. We don't do tile or cabinets.
What shouldn't go in a disposal?
Grease, bones, fruit pits, coffee grounds in quantity, pasta and rice (they swell), and fibrous stuff like celery and corn husks. Run cold water while it's on and for a few seconds after.
